Most battlecards are out of date by the time sales opens them
The competitor changed their pricing in March, the card still says £40 a seat, and nobody knows which other lines have quietly gone wrong, so reps stop trusting the whole thing and message you instead. The card isn't the problem. Nobody can tell what's current.
What changes
- 01
Every claim is owned, and every check is dated
Mark something verified and it records who and when. Pricing claims expire after 30 days by default, positioning after 180, and you can change both.
- 02
Stale claims turn amber, then red
The card shows a freshness score, and the review queue lists what needs re-checking, most overdue first. "Still true" is one tap.
- 03
Reps get one screen, on a phone
A read-only card with why we win, landmines to set and objection responses, built to be read mid-call. Out-of-date lines are flagged or hidden, your choice.
- 04
Proof that expires too
Link each claim to a quote, stat or case study from the proof library. If the proof goes stale, so does every claim that relies on it.
It also keeps a history of every change to a card's claims, copies cards as clean text for Slack or Notion, and prints a clean version for the deal room.
How it compares
A Google Doc is fine until the first price change. Here's how Freshcard compares.

Paid CI platforms monitor competitors for you and plug into your CRM, which Freshcard doesn't. Freshcard does the bit after that: keeping what you've written current.
Why I built it
I've built battlecards at three companies, and the hard part was never writing them. It was knowing, six months later, which lines were still true. At Sylvera, keeping them current fed into a win rate about 13 points higher, which I won't claim on my own, but it convinced me that freshness matters more than polish.
